Ghana (University of Health and Allied Sciences) UHAS Receives Best Human Tertiary Education In Health And Sciences Award
University of Health and Allied Sciences was awarded the Best Tertiary Education in Health and Science Award by 28 Credentials of Entrepreneur (28COE) at the 3rd Global 28COE Business Summit held in Accra on Novembers 6, 2022. The award is in recognition of the university’s contribution to healthcare education and delivery, and growth on the international map, and was received by UHAS Vice Chancellor Prof. Lydia Aziato on behalf of the university. 28COE is Malaysia’s leading platform for entrepreneurs and professionals.
Following that, a team of organisers led by Mr. Billal Ahmad Bhat, CEO of 28COE, paid a courtesy visit to UHAS on November 9 to explore opportunities for partnership and collaboration. The team included Dr. Victoria Vitashie, CEO of Westline Meridian and Dr. Prince Kofi Kludjeson, President of Celltel Networks Ltd. VC Prof. Lydia Aziato, Pro-VC, Prof. Harry Tagbor, Registrar Ms. Yaa Amankwaa Opuni, and Prof. Kwabena Duedu, Associate Professor in the School of Basic and Biomedical Sciences received the guests at the UHAS Main Campus.
