Sudan (University of Gezira) A Delegation From Bahir Dar University Visits the Faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy and the “Nobre” Institute
The delegation of Bahir Dar University and the Ethiopian Institute of Textile Technology and Fashion visited the Faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy, and got acquainted with officials and professors of the two faculties about academic and research programs and activities.They discussed aspects of cooperation and ways to activate partnerships between the two sides. The delegation was acquainted with the components of the National Institute for Research on Oilseed Processing (Nobre), and the research units and activities that the Institute relies on to contribute to supporting the vegetable oil sector through scientific research and training and qualification of workers in this vital sector. It is noteworthy that Bahir Dar University has focused its efforts to establish partnerships with many institutions, federations and international federations, and has maintained partnerships of various degrees with more than 160 international institutions in more than 41 countries on five continents, and has been affiliated with nine major international associations. These partnerships have created diverse opportunities in joint education and research for teaching staff and post graduate students. arPartnerships have also helped expand dual programs and regist international students.Bahir Dar University currently has 19 dual undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and 324 international students from Sudan, South Sudan, Eritrea, Somalia and Spain.
