Angola (University Mandume Ya Ndemufayo) Students Carried out Pilot Practices

Medical students at Manduma ya Ndemufayo University had their first pilot practice, as part of the training of the Operative Research Project Against Chronic Child Malnutrition in Angola (CRESCER) which took place from 19 to 24 September. The pilot practice took place in the Mitcha – Lubango neighborhood and consisted of the application of interviews to families identified by the Administration of that neighborhood, in the practice of anthropometric techniques to be applied in the field work. It should be noted that 40 medical students from UMN (Huíla) benefited from the training, joining the 28 Community and Sanitary Development Agents (ADECOS) from the communities of Jamba (14) and Chicomba (14), who acquired skills to appropriate aspects technical and community research.
