Egypt (Tanta University) To Enhance University Youth’s Volunteerism, Decent Life Foundation Organizes an Outreach Symposium for Students of Faculties of Agriculture and Computer at Tanta University

Tanta University hosted today outreach symposiums organized by Decent Life Foundation at Faculty of Agriculture and at Faculty of Computer and Information under the title “Enhancing University Youth’s Volunteerism at the Presidential Initiative Decent Life” under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, University President, in attendance of Prof. Mohamed Al-Sayed, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture; Prof. Nancy Al-Hefnawy, Dean of Faculty of Computer and Information; and Prof. Heba Salman, Coordinator of Decent Life Foundation in Qutour Province in Gharbia Governorate.

Prof. Mahmoud Zaki declared that the university is not for education only but also for enlightenment and forming personality. He pointed out that the outreach symposiums that the university takes part in aims to disseminate awareness among students and to enhance their participation and volunteerism in the national project Decent Life; this project aims to raise citizens’ standard of living particularly in Egyptian rural areas.

Furthermore, Prof. Mohamed Hussein stated that the university supports youth not only through holding symposiums but also via organizing field visits to the sites of the national projects so that students can know about the achievements accomplished in development of Egyptian countryside and the real developmental endeavors.
