Egypt (Tanta University) The Start of PSN Tournament at Tanta University
The tournament for persons with special needs started today at Tanta University in the academic year 2022-2023 at the PSN Sporting Hall and the courts of Sibirbay Campus under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, University President, and Prof. Mohamed Hussein, University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, under supervision of Prof. Magdy Wakwak, General Coordinator of Student Activities, and Mr. Mohammad Al-Kasir, General Manager of Youth Welfare.
Prof. Mahmoud Zaki declared that Tanta University gives great interest to students with disabilities in the light of the instructions of the political leaders as for supporting them, merging them with their colleagues in all student activities, offering them quality services, and activating their developmental role in community.
Moreover, Prof. Mohamed Hussein, University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, added that Tanta University uses all its capabilities to support students with special needs and to develop their skills. He pointed out that the tournament included sports such as bell ball, weightlifting, table tennis, and gymnastics for the short, persons with motor disabilities, the blind, and the deaf-mute.
