Brunei Darussalam (Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University) Unissa and Brunei Institute of Leadership and Islamic Finance (BILIF) of understanding renewal council

14 November 2022 , Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA) through the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Finance (FEKIm) strengthened its network of strategic partners by renewing the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Brunei Institute Of Leadership And Islamic Finance (BILIF).

The MoU signing ceremony was held at the UNISSA Auditorium.

Present to witness the MoU signing ceremony was His Excellency Dr. Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, RectorIN DREAMS.

The signing of the UNISSA MoU with BILIF was signed by Yang Mulia Dr Abdul Nasir bin Haji Abdul Rani, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Finance representing UNISSA while on behalf of BILIF it was signed by the Chief Executive Officer, Yang Mulia Dayang Hajah Sufinah binti Haji Sahat.

FEKIm UNISSA and BILIF are two comrades who go hand in hand playing their respective roles in both producing and improving the skills of human resources, not only in the financial industry, but also in the public and private sectors. The significant role played by FEKIm UNISSA and BILIF has received worldwide recognition when both received the Global Islamic Finance Award (GIFA) in 2019 in Cape Town, South Africa and in 2021 in London, United Kingdom.

With the renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding between FEKIm UNISSA and BILIF, this will further strengthen the existing cooperation.

The ceremony was further enhanced by the sharing of Scientific Talks delivered by Dr Haji Razali bin Mat Zin, FEKIM UNISSA professor and Dayang Ruby Sandra binti Mohammed, Manager, Learning & Development Department, BILIF.
