International University of Sarajevo (Bosnia & Herzegovina) Lecture On European Research Council Grants Held At IUS
On November 9, 2022, the Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP) at IUS organized an event with a special guest, Prof. Dr. Suzana Gotovac – Atlagić, the ERC National Contact Point for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Prof. Gotovac – Atlagić shared information about the European Research Council Grants. The ERC’s mission is to encourage the highest quality research in Europe through competitive funding and support investigator-driven frontier research across all fields.
Prof. Dr. Gotovac – Atlagic focused on Consolidator Grants – as the call is currently open (deadline for submission: February 2, 2023), and Advanced Grants – the call opens on December 8. Since there were no previous grant winners from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Prof. Dr. Suzana Gotovac – Atlagić strongly encouraged IUS professors to apply for the ERC Grants. Prof. Gotovac – Atlagić also highlighted that it is possible to cooperate with fellow researchers worldwide by inviting them to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
