Prof. Yasser Hatata, President of Fayoum University, Congratulated Dr. Ahmed Al-Ansary, Governor of Fayoum, for winning two projects from Fayoum Governorate among the 18 projects that will be presented during the COP27 Climate Change Conference, praising the role of the National Initiative for Smart Green Projects as a pioneering initiative in the field of sustainable and smart development, dealing with the environmental dimension and the effects of climate change, by developing a map at the governorate level for smart green projects and attracting the necessary investments for them.
For his part, Prof. Arafa Sabry, Vice President of Fayoum University for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, expressed his happiness to participate, on behalf of the President of Fayoum University, in the activities of the national conference to announce the results of the winning projects in the National Initiative for Smart Green Projects, which is sponsored by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President The Republic, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly this morning, in the presence of the ministers of planning and economic development, international cooperation, social solidarity, local development, and the climate pioneer of the Egyptian presidency of the 27th session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change ( COP27), head of the initiative’s arbitration committee, a number of governors, deputy governors, the initiative’s general coordinator, the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Egypt, and a large number of officials.
