On the afternoon of November 17, 2022, the first lecture and opening ceremony of the special training course on learning and implementing the “20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China” was held online. Wang Shilong, executive deputy secretary of the party committee and president of the party school, attended the opening ceremony and made a mobilization speech, and 12,697 party members and cadres of the school jointly studied the first lecture “Interpretation of the Spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party” delivered by Yang Yu, deputy director of China Development and Reform News and special commentator of China Central Radio and Television Corporation. The meeting was chaired by Li Xuejing, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and director of the Organization Department.
In his mobilization speech at the opening of the class, Wang Shilong stressed: Studying, propagating, and implementing the spirit of the 20 th CPC National Congress is the most important political task of the whole party and the whole country at present and for some time to come; all cadets must profoundly understand that without great study, there will be no great development of the cause, and they must make efforts to comprehensively study, comprehensively grasp, and comprehensively implement it, so as to ensure that their thinking is unified with the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and that their strength is concentrated on the various tasks set by the 20th CPC National Congress. After the opening ceremony, Yang Yu, deputy director of China Development and Reform News and special commentator of China Central Radio and Television Corporation, brought the first lecture “Toward the Great Rejuvenation, Knowing the Heavy Burdens and Starting Again – Interpretation of the Spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China” to the training course by video lecture. Yang Yu suggested that the broad masses of party members and cadres should proceed from the 10 “footholds” and start with the 10 “ones” to deeply study, publicize, and implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, and comprehensively, systematically and highlight the key points of sorting out and interpreting the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress through 14 aspects.
