Canada (Canadian Aviation College) About the Recreational Pilot Permit

Recreational Pilot Permit (RPP) program is favourable for students wishing to fly as a hobby, or simply to build their experience.

The RPP course is designed to adhere to Transport Canada’s requirements. It has a few restrictions including limiting flights to Canadian airspace, one passenger only, and flying in daylight VFR conditions only.

Students will learn basic theory and the skills needed to operate an aircraft privately in a safe manner with a maximum of one passenger on board. Completion of this course results in a competent, skilled, and knowledgeable VFR pilot and a Recreational Pilot Permit.

Learn the steps to obtain your recreational pilot permit at Canadian Aviation College, located at Pitt Meadows Airport, British Columbia.
