Canada (Canadian Aviation College) About the Commercial Pilot License
The Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) program is comprehensive and trains a private pilot licence holder up to the Transport Canada CPL standards. Students will learn advanced aviation theory and flying, navigation and planning skills to commercially operate aircraft for financial compensation or reward. CPL licence holders typically endorse the license with multi-engine and instrument ratings.
The CPL program adheres closely to the minimum flight and ground school hours set by Transport Canada. It builds a student’s knowledge and skills to meet, or exceed, the Transport Canada flight and ground standards.
