Azerbaijan University (Azerbaijan) The next event dedicated to Victory Day was held at Azerbaijan University

An event on “Victory Day and psychological aspects of patriotism education” was held under the organization of Lala Babayeva, a teacher of the department of organization of social work at Azerbaijan University. At the event, the students learned about the stages of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Armenia’s territorial claims to Azerbaijan, the artificial division of Karabakh into two and the creation of an autonomous province in the mountainous part, separatist activities of Armenians during the Soviet era and the end of the 1980s, the transition of the conflict to the war phase, Armenia’s occupation of 20 percent of Azerbaijan’s land, The videos they prepared about the important events of the modern history of Azerbaijan, such as the battles of the discussion period, the 44-day Patriotic War, and the establishment of the Victory Day, were shown. 

The event was opened by the head of the department, Doctor of Philosophy in Pedagogy Tunzale Verdiyeva. Tunzala Verdiyeva’s speech was dedicated to the decisive factors that ensured Azerbaijan’s victory in the 44-day Patriotic War. 

After the opening, three videos prepared by IV year students majoring in business management were shown. In the first video clip, the Karabakh trial of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, Karabakh during the Soviet rule, the cultural heritage and values ​​of Karabakh were reflected. The second video clip talked about the battles of April, which were the beginning of the road to the Patriotic War, and the battles of Tovuz, which were one of the main stages of the road to the Patriotic War. The last video is dedicated to the 44-day Patriotic War and the victory of Azerbaijan.
