Ghana (Accra Technical University) ATU Collaborates with Onecnnect and Anthology to Deliver Digital Training & Learning Series

In light of giving meaning to the new normal in education – remote teaching and learning – Accra Technical University (ATU) has collaborated with OneConnect and Anthology; leading names in disruptive educational technologies to equip participants from the educational sector with requisite digital skills.

The two-day digital training and learning series, which came off at the ATU Lodge from 23rd to 24th August, 2022, was on the theme “Fundamentals for Digital Teaching and Learning (DTLS A).”

Speaking at the opening and closing, the Vice-Chancellor of ATU, Professor Samuel Nii Odai, highlighted the indispensability of new and emerging trends in delivering academic work. He recounted the University’s efforts and progress in the deployment of remote learning and teaching mechanisms which have now been incorporated into the University’s Academic Calendar.

The Vice-Chancellor further encouraged the participants to imbibe and employ the new knowledge and skills acquired in their various fields of endeavour.

The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Andriana JM Botha, a Senior Educational Consultant based in Pretoria (South Africa), and Dr. Dany Azzi, an expert in Digital Teaching and Learning.

The workshop was graced by participants from Accra Technical University, Pro-Vice-Chancellors from sister Technical Universities and other players in the educational sector.
