Yangzhou University (China) Online Meeting of YZU, Hai’an Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and the Medical Center for Treatment and Rehabilitation of the Republic of Uzbekistan
On October 14th, Yangzhou University, Hai’an Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and the Medical Center for Treatment and Rehabilitation of the Republic of Uzbekistan held an online meeting. Han Jie, vice president of YZU, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
Han Jie said that in recent years, with the strong support of Jiangsu Province and Nantong City, YZU actively worked together with Hai’an Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital to promote exchanges with Uzbekistan in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). He pointed out that YZU would fully employ its abundant resources in medical education and scientific research to strengthen the cooperation in scientific research, personnel training and exchanges between China and Uzbekistan for medical and health care development, so as to advance the construction of the Silk Road of Health. Professor Alavi, director of the Medical Center for Treatment and Rehabilitation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, expressed his anticipation to continue multi-level bilateral cooperation in visits and exchanges, establishment of training mechanisms, and development of S&T projects. Professor Kamilova, chief therapist of the medical center, said that we would overcome all the difficulties and finally achieve success in the promotion of projects by tapping into the achievements from bilateral cooperation over the years.
Representatives from China and Uzbekistan had a heated discussion on strategic cooperation framework, scientific research platform, project application as well as personnel training and visits, and then drafted preliminary plans.
The Medical Center for Treatment and Rehabilitation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Hai’an Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Yangzhou University International Cooperation and Exchange Office, Health Science Center, Medical College, School of Nursing, and Institute of Translational Medicine attended the online meeting.
