Oman (University of Nizwa) Entrepreneurship Center Signs Two MoD to Incubate Student projects

On Wednesday, the Entrepreneurship center incubation signed a memorandum of understanding to incubate two new student projects. The two companies are “Our Pharmacy” under the director of Osama Al-Muaini, and “Health Service Delivery” under the director of Ahmed Shammas. 

Muhammad Al-Maawali, Director of the Entrepreneurship Center, said, “the agreement states that the business incubation center is going to incubate the two projects for six months, willing to extend according to companies’ performance development.”

The companies are required to provide a business plan, an integrated program for sales and marketing, obtain the required license to set up the project and form the company’s management structure.

Since the beginning of the year, the Business Incubation Center has incubated seven students’ business projects. Al-Maawali explained, “The Business Incubation Center provides the companies with the logistical, training, technical, and orientation support, as well as workshops by specialists in the field. The Center facilitates office spaces for companies to work and conduct their meetings.

The Center’s efforts are continuing to incubate student projects and existing small and medium-sized entrepreneurs. Al-Muaini and Shammas praised the university’s effort and added, “the services provided by the Entrepreneurship Center are an opportunity to manage our projects in an appropriate and rich environment.”
