University Corporation of the Coast (Colombia) Universidad de la Costa holds the first Latin American Congress on Logistics Innovation

From October 31 to November 4, at the University of the Coast , the first version of the Latin American Congress of Logistics Innovation was held, with the participation of different businessmen and researchers from this sector, who shared their experiences and contributions for the its development through innovation processes.

In the congress that was held at the UniCosta Competition Coliseum, the massive attendance of students was evident and also remotely through the Teams platform. In addition, within the framework of the event, it was possible to strengthen ties with a group of international business students from the Universidad del Itsmo who visited us for 4 days, actively participating in each of the conferences held.

“This event left us with a positive balance since we were able to organize it in record time and brought us teacher and student mobility with various countries such as Mexico, Spain, Panama, and international organizations such as YoungShip,” said Rafael Rojas, coordinator of the Specialization in Integral Logistics who was leading the academic activities developed.

Likewise, Rojas recognizes that organizing, leading and opening these types of spaces increases our visibility as an educational institution at a local, regional and national level. At the same time, it allows you to interact with other cultures, compare content, themes, technologies present in other countries and continents to stay at the forefront.

It is worth mentioning that this congress was supported by the Postgraduate Department and the Productivity and Innovation Department. The guests were very dynamic, since they actively participated in the development of each academic day of the congress.
