Nigeria (African University of Science and Technology) AUST hosts intensive training on energy, environment & sustainable development

The African University of Science and Technology(AUST), Abuja in continuation of its human capacity building will from Monday, November 21- Friday, November 25, 2022 host an “Intensive Training On Energy,  Environment and Sustainable Development” According to Prince Obioha Sampson Atulomah and Mrs Nsima Ekanem-Joseph, co-hosts of the the 5-day program, the training would take place at the AfDB Laboratory Ultra modern Hall, AUST, Abuja and would run from 9am to 2pm each day.

They stressed that the training which targets Energy Professionals, Environmentalists, Policy Makers, Economists, Academicians to mention but few would focus among other things on equipping participants with the necessary expertise on how to harness the energy natural resources in Nigeria, support its economic growth, sustaining a clean environment and making provisions for the future generations.

Dr. Alpheus Igbokoyi, Head, Petroleum and Energy Resources Department and Dr. AbdulHakeem Bello, Director, Academic Planning and Associate Professor of the Physics department all from AUST would be handy to do justice to the courses outlined for this intensive learning program.
