Nigeria (Abia State University) Absu Law Alumni Donates Books To The University

The pioneer graduates of Abia State University Faculty of Law, 1985 set, has donated Fifty Three (53) copies of the Nigeria Law Reports from January-December 2021 to the University.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Distinguished Professor Onyemachi M. Ogbulu, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC) Academic, Professor G. I. N. Emezue, expressed appreciation to the ABSU Law Faculty Alumni, for their continued support to the University over the years, and urged them to continue to work together with their national body for a stronger ABSU Alumni Association.
Earlier, the leader of the team Anyim Chimaroke, stated that the Association has always placed priority on the need to give back to their Alma-mater, hence the provision of a Law Library to the Faculty during the past administration, and now the donation of the current edition of the Nigerian Law reports.
He assured that they will not rest on their oars until the Law Library of the Faculty is equipped to be the best in Nigeria, from its present position as the best in the South East.
In a vote of thanks the Dean, Faculty of Law, Professor Eze Ngwakwe , represented by Professor I. Okoronye thanked the ABSU Law Alumni for the donation and assured that the books will be used well to strengthen the quality of Teaching and Research in the University.
He further requested for more donations, especially bookshelves for the Law Library as God continues to provide resources for them.
The Registrar, Dr Acho Elendu was present during the meeting.
