Within the framework of the World Day of the Fight against AIDS, the Itinerant Health Modules closed activities during this semester, in an event in the Plaza del Estudiante where 16 public sector institutions, civil associations, as well as five departments participated of this house of studies.
The module was carried out under the theme alluding to December 1, and a day of application of rapid HIV tests was carried out; In addition, a series of conferences were offered, which started with: how to be an effective blood donor, followed by different talks, a play and forums alluding to the subject.
To close this protocol act, a ceremony was organized in memory of the people who lived with HIV and died.
Prevention
is promoted Aracely Ornelas Arana, in charge of the Student Health Program, of the Student Support Program Directorate, indicated that the objective of these conferences that take place every Wednesday is to bring students closer to the health services offered institutions that come from outside and the university itself.
“The young man, after the pandemic and everything we went through, has shown great interest in his own health; he comes and asks where the vaccines are, what is there, everything is at hand here, it is preventive and promotional. It is a re-education of the care that a young person should have ”, she expressed.
The purpose, he said, is to raise awareness about health care, so that each day there is information on preventive programs, vaccine application and tests, in addition to the registration of university students at the Mexican Social Security Institute.
This semester, the activity of the Itinerant Health Module will close sharply at 1:00 p.m.
