Pavol Jozef Šafárik University (Slovakia) The Dean appreciated the excellent students
Twenty-four excellent students of the Faculty of Medicine, UPJŠ, including outstanding medical students studying in the English language, received the Dean’s Commendation for their superb performance of their studies on the occasion of the International Students’ Day and the Struggle for Freedom and Democracy Day on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.
The award ceremony was attended by the Dean of the UPJŠ FM, prof. Peter Jarčuška, M.D., PhD. and three Vice-Deans – Vice-Dean for Study Programme General Medicine in English Language prof. Daniel Pella, M.D., PhD., Vice-Dean for Educational Activities in the 1st to 3rd year of Study Programme General Medicine in Slovak Language assoc. Prof. RNDr. Miroslava Rabajdová, PhD. and Vice-Dean for Educational Activities in the 4th to 6th year of Study Programme General Medicine in Slovak Language prof. Želmíra Macejová, M.D., PhD.
The Dean of the UPJŠ FM handed over the Dean’s Commendations to the students and, after congratulations, had an informal talk with them not only about the events of November ’89 but was mainly interested in the various problems they encountered in theoretical and practical teaching and their view on possible solutions.
