SHARE Architects and Neapolis University Pafos (NUP) invite you to the first edition of SHARE Interiors Forum – an international event dedicated to interior architecture and design. The forum will take place on 21st of  November at theCarob Mill Complex in Limassol.

SHARE Interiors Forum aims to connect architects and designers with leading brands and experts in architecture, technology and interior design.

Davide MACULLO, Founder Davide Macullo Architecture, Switzerland

For 20 years Davide Macullo was a project architect in the atelier of Mario Botta with responsibility for over 200 international projects worldwide. He opened his own atelier in 2000. The ethos of the Davide Macullo Architects studio has developed into one of ‘cross experiences and promotes an open and cultural exchange with architects and collaborators coming from different backgrounds. The work of the Studio has received awards, been published, and exhibited widely both at home and abroad; in Switzerland, Italy, France, Greece, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Turkey, Russia, China, Korea, Australia, Argentina, Ireland, UK and in the US and has just published SWISSMADEINITALY, which focuses on eight of its residential projects in Ticino.

Deborah LOPEZ, Founder of Pareid Studio, United Kingdom

Deborah Lopez and Hadin Charbel are the founders of Pareid, an interdisciplinary design and research studio currently located in London, United Kingdom. Their works adopt approaches from various fields and contexts, addressing topics related to climate, ecology, human perception, machine sentience, and their capacity for altering current modes of existence through iminent fictions (if).

 

Aser GIMÉNEZ ORTEGA, Associate Director MVRDV, The Netherlands

Aser Giménez-Ortega (Murcia, Spain, 1979) is a Spanish architect and associate director at MVRDV. Aser joined MVRDV in 2007, and has experience leading projects of various scales and phases, ranging from masterplan to interior design and from concept to construction. Aser overlooked the conceptualization and realization of Oslo’s DNB bank headquarters and Shanghai’s Hongqiao CBD

Aser’s other works include the transformation of a former concrete factory into Roskilde Festival Folk High School and The Vertical Village research in collaboration with The Why Factory. He is also responsible for a range of interior and retail projects both in Europe and in Asia, such as the façade for the BVLGARI flagship store in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and a temporary Dolce & Gabbana store in Paris. He has lectured and conducted student workshops in different cities and universities such as The Hague, Oslo, Istanbul, Lisbon, Jerusalem and Plovdiv.

 

Maria CHATZISTAVROUFounder LimeDeco, Greece

The Architectural and Interior Design Company Lime Deco was founded by Maria Chatzistavrou in 2007 and its office is based in Kolonaki, Athens, Greece. It specializes in the interior architecture of Hotels, touristic lodgings, private villas and residences, professional and commercial spaces.

 

Ala ZUREIKAT, ASTET Studio, Spain


For Jordanian designer Ala Zureikat and Oscar Engroba, co-founders of Barcelona-Based Astet Studio, great design is more than skin deep; especially in a post-pandemic world, for them, design has to have purpose and empathy, and yes, that fantastical element of escapism. Astet is a Barcelona based practice formed by an international team of designers working in the fields of Architecture, Interior design,  furniture design, and creative art direction. Their portfolio features a wide range of projects with a special focus on hospitality.

Etan KIMMEL, Co-Founder Kimmel Eshkolot Architects, Israel

Kimmel-Eshkolot Architects is an Israeli architecture firm, founded in Tel Aviv, Israel in 1986, by Etan Kimmel and Michal Kimmel-Eshkolot. In their first years of practice, they were involved in the preservation and rehabilitation of Neve Tzedek, the historical neighborhood of  Tel Aviv. Throughout the years they won several national competitions for the design of high-profile public projects in Israel, such as the new expansion of the government compound (“Kiryat Hamemshala”) in Jerusalem, the Davidson Museum in the Archaeological Park near the Western_Wall and the Memorial Center for Israeli military casualties in Mount Herzl. In 2011 they won the Rechter Prize for Architecture, considered to be the most prestigious award for architecture in Israel.

Tilemachos ANDRIANOPOULOS, Founder Tense Architecture Network, Greece

Diploma in Architecture, National Technical University of Athens (2001), Metropolis Msc in Architecture and Urban Culture, CCCB-Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (2006). Founder of Tense Architecture Network_TAN (2004). Member of the multidisciplinary group Greenproject (2010), of the Hellenic Institute of Architects (2015), and of do.co.momo international (2015). Associate Professor in the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens.

The practice’s work includes several first prize competition proposals as well as awarded residences: ‘Residence in Megara’ and Residence in Heraklion were nominated for the Mies van der Rohe award (2015-2017) and ‘Residence in Sikamino’ was shortlisted for the same award (2013), while TAN participated in the Architecture Biennale of Venice twice (2012 and 2014). Elina KRITIKO, Founder EKKY STUDIO, Cyprus

Elina has varied experience in residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, as well as participation in national and international architectural competitions and extensive knowledge and expertise in architectural rules and procedures. She realized her objective of practicing high-quality, innovative architecture within the firm’s philosophy of serving people and their communities by establishing EKKY STUDIO ARCHITECTS. In 2020 she was awarded as one of the 40 more promising young architects in Europe.

Ifigenia LAMPROU, Partner Armeftis Partners, Cyprus


Ifigenia is currently pursuing the MSc Adaptive Architecture & Computation in Bartlett (UCL). In 2012 she co-founded Ikreate, a design studio that works in the production of emergent, non-conventional forms through the use of computational tools. Her personal interests lie in generative design and emergence in architectural design, both through simulation and materialisation. Through her studies she became interested to artificial intelligence, embedded computation, physical computing and robotics in architecture. Her projects also involve the use and investigation of Neural Networks and Genetic Algorithms as optimisation techniques in an architectural context.

Marios CHRISTODOULIDES, Architect Director Simpraxis Architects, Cyprus

Marios Christodoulides studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where his research investigated the design process in studios and the development of computational design tools. He earned his BArch from  California State University, SLO where he was the recipient of the AIA student gold medal award. His collaborative research work has been published in journals such as Architectural Design and was exhibited at the museum of modern art in Tokyo among others. After the completion of his graduate studies he was employed in Boston, first as a junior designer and subsequently as Project Architect. He has worked on projects ranging from housing, urban redevelopment, and university campus projects. Group work has been published in journals such as Architectural Record, Business week, and International Design, and also exhibited at MIT and the Rhode Island School of Design. In 2003 he returned to Cyprus where he set up an independent practice.

He was an adjunct faculty at the University of Cyprus from 2005 to 2009 and 2020. His Architecture studios have focused on ephemeral urban interventions. His work was exhibited at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2006 and was an associate curator with Peter Cook for the Cyprus Pavilion in 2008. Build and theoretical work has been awarded in competitions and published in the local media as well as abroad.
