Kenya (Mount Kenya University) Nairobi City Clean up Exercise by Nairobi Campus

On 12th November 2022, the Congress Club of Nairobi campus organized a city clean up exercise in Nairobi City County. They were joined by MKUSA officials, the Christian Union and Mr. and Miss Nairobi Campus. The event took place between 6:30 AM to 11 am kicking off from Kenyatta avenue and going through the City hall, Mama Ngina street and finally concluded at Moi Avenue.  The Nairobi City County, Department of Environment and Natural Resources provided the permit, cleaning tools and wheelbarrows.

The Campus Director appreciated the Nairobi County Government for supporting the event. He was also pleased to note that the County Governor of Nairobi, Hon. Johnson Sakaja was impressed by the good work done by MKU students.

The Director also thanked the club patron, Madam Caroline Makokha for overseeing the event, the Club Chairperson madam Raelyael Atieno, and the MKUSA Chairperson madam Yvonne Yael Otieno and all those who took part in the cleanup exercise.
