KSA (Majmaah University) Majmaah Shines at SIIF 2024: Innovative Achievements Reflecting Global Leadership

Majmaah University showcased three inventions at the 2024 SIIF International Invention Fair in South Korea, featuring over 520 inventors from 32 countries. The university won the Grand Prize for the top five inventions, awarded for Dr. Ibrahim Al-Areifi’s “Artificial Skeleton,” designed to replace natural bones with a shock-absorbing cylindrical component.

Additionally, the university received a gold medal for being in the top 20% of inventions, thanks to Dr. Muhammad Abu Amer’s “Milk Sterilization Device” using hybrid ultraviolet techniques, offering an alternative to traditional pasteurization that negatively affects milk’s taste and color.

Moreover, a special prize from Thailand’s Research and Innovation Council was awarded to Dr. Saad Al-Anzi for his “Circular Cutting Tool” for cataract removal, featuring a flexible ring and sharp edge for precise cuts without complex equipment.

These accomplishments highlight the university’s innovative faculty and research contributions, gaining international recognition for its inventors and inventions.
