Reception of a Tanzanian delegation as part of the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS) and the University of Dares-Salaam
This Friday, June 10, 2022, the Ecole Normale Supérieure welcomed a delegation from the United Republic of Tanzania for the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS) and the University of Dares-Salaam.
The Director General of ENS, NUSURA Hassan, first welcomed the Tanzanian delegation. Afterwards, she briefly described the organization chart of the Ecole Normale Supérieure, its missions and mentioned the expectations of the convention.
Taking the floor, the members of the delegation, Dr. Elisante MSHIU and Dr. LULU TUNU KAAYA thanked the ENS authorities for a warm welcome reserved for them.

The objective of the convention is the exchange of experiences in the fields of languages (Kiswahili and French), especially since both countries are part of the East African Community.
Thus, the French language teachers of the Ecole Normale Supérieure will move to Tanzania to teach French and the Kiswahili teachers of the University of Dar-es-Salaam will make the same movement to Burundi. This mobility also concerns students from both institutions.

The Director-General thanked the members of the delegation for coming to Burundi, but also for signing the memorandum of letterhead which, without a doubt, will bring an improvement in the teaching of both languages in both countries.
