Université Des Comores (Comoros)

The University of the Comoros was created on September 8, 2003 with the merger of the higher education institutions existing at the time. It is :

• The National School of Administration and Commerce (ENAC);
• The Institute for Teacher Training and Research in Education (IFERE);
• The Higher Institute for Training and Retraining (ISFR);
• The National School of Health;
• The Imam Chafiou Faculty.

Currently the University is made up of 9 sites:

• Faculty of Law and Economics (FDSE);
• Imam Chafiou Faculty (FIC);
• Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences (FLSH);
• Faculty of Science and Technology (FST);
• Institute for Teacher Training and Research in Education (IFERE);
• University Institute of Technology (IUT);
• School of Medicine and Public Health (EMSP);
• Patsy University Center (Anjouan);
• University Center of Moheli.

The UDC now hosts the majority of baccalaureate holders, i.e. more than 71% of all baccalaureate holders in the country.
