Biography
Dr. Raed Alharthi is an Assistant Professor in the College of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Hafr Al Batin. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Informatics from Oakland University, USA, earned in 2019. Prior to his doctoral studies, he obtained an M.S. in Computer Science and Information Technology from Sacred Heart University, USA, in 2014, and a B.S. in Computer Science from Taif University, Saudi Arabia, in 2009.
In addition to his academic role, Dr. Alharthi has held several key administrative positions. He has served as a Human Resources Manager for four years, where he contributed to organizational development and talent management initiatives. He is also currently serving as Vice Dean of Digital Transformation at the University, a role he has held for over a year, where he leads strategic projects aimed at enhancing the institution’s digital infrastructure and services.
Dr. Alharthi is deeply committed to quality education and continuous improvement. He actively contributes to institutional accreditation efforts and has worked closely with the University’s Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with national and international accreditation standards.
