Biography
Dr. Mohamed Makkawi received his PHD in International Law, USA and his Masters of Law in US. Dr. Makkawi is an active Member of the International Lawyer Association-USA, Amnesty International-USA, Arab-American Lawyer Association-USA & the Sudanese Scholars & Experts Abroad Council. He is a Certified International Arbitrator, from 2011 up to now. And he specialized in Technology Law, International Business Law, Contract Law and Intellectual Property Law. Dr. Makkawi participated in many regional and international conferences, workshops and seminars. He wrote many papers, articles in different magazines and newspapers. Dr. Makkawi is currently the Director of Legal Department and a Senior Legal Advisor at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals. He is also an esteemed Faculty Member in the Business School & a Mentor in the Entrepreneur Institute of KFUPM. Dr. Makkawi is also the Legal Advisor to the Rector, Dhahran Techno-Valley & Al-Fozan Academy of KFUPM. Dr. Makkawi is a Member of different Regional and International Organizations.
