The Islamic Institute of the Republic of Tajikistan named after the Great Imam Abu Hanifa Nu'man ibn Thabit - State Institution of the Islamic Institute of Tajikistan was officially established by Resolution № 547 on November 2, 2007. In 2009, on the occasion of the anniversary of the Great Imam Abu Hanifa, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, he was named after the Great Imam Abu Hanifa Nu'man ibn Thabit. The institute is located on the territory of Khoja Yaqub mosque in Dushanbe.
