Rumbek University of Science and Technology (South Sudan)

Rumbek University, established in 2010, is a non-profit public higher-education school based in the small town of Rumbek, Lakes State, South Sudan. Rumbek University (RU) is a minor coeducational South Sudanese higher education institution that is officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology. Rumbek University (RU) offers courses and programs in a variety of fields that lead to officially recognized higher education degrees. The university currently offers two programs: the College of Education and the College of Economics and Social Studies. The government has already begun planning for the addition of three new colleges, namely agriculture, veterinary sciences, and medicine.
