Biography
She is a Doctor of the Faculty of Economics at the Batman University, Türkiye (since 2016). With interest in macroeconomics, environmental economics, econometrics, sustainable tourism and tourism economy she has a list of papers presented at international scientific meetings and published in proceedings. In addition, she accredits herself with several national and international publications that include two books, ten book chapters nine articles in peer-reviewed journals and published seven books as editor position. Dr. Atalay Şimşek has also contributed to the organization of international congresses as the Congress Chairperson. She continues to inspire and mentor students and colleagues at Batman University, contributing to the advancement of economic science and the development of sustainable economic policies. Her dedication to academic excellence and community service underscores her role as a prominent figure in the field of economics and tourism.
