Biography

Nidal M. Hussein (PhD in Environmental Engineering) from University Windsor, Canada (2012). An Associate Professor at University of Petra – Jordan, fellow member of the Leaders in Innovation from Royal Academy of Engineering (UK). Dr. Hussein has over 20 years of research, teaching, supervision, and professional experience in the Netherlands, Canada and Jordan. Dr. Hussein published many research studies internationally and locally in peer-reviewed scientific journals with research areas related to water and environmental engineering. Dr. Hussein chaired, co-chaired and participated in several international and local conferences on water and environmental engineering. He delivered public lectures, initiated by Jordan Engineers Association and Erasmus+. Dr. Hussein established the Water and Environment Research Lab at the University of Petra. Dr. Hussein served as a vice dean of engineering and head of civil engineering department at University of Petra.
