The University of Otago, located in Dunedin, the capital of Otago Province, South Island, New Zealand, was founded in 1869. It is the first university in New Zealand and the world's top university. It is also the only comprehensive university in New Zealand that can provide majors in consumer and applied science, dentistry, human nutrition, pharmacy, sports, physiotherapy and measurement.
