Our mission is to promote national competitiveness by providing multiple opportunities for excellent education, applied research, innovation and service. Applied research should be focused on a few niche areas based on the needs of Namibia so that our institution achieves the necessary reputation of excellence in those areas and to provide synergy for staff development around those specific areas and to promote entrepreneurship in a knowledge economy. It is our goal, through collective effort, in-house publications and research seminars to make the necessary contributions towards applied research to enhance community engagement and attract international partnerships.
