Biography
Dinesh Abrol researches on the issues of Science and Technology (S&T) Policy at the National Institute of Science, Technology and Development Studies, a constituent establishment of CSIR. His research contributions cover areas pertaining to the themes of intellectual property management, design of innovation systems, constructive technology assessment and S&T policy. He is engaged in the upgrading of rural technologies with the aim of contributing to the movement for sustainable development in India. He is also known for his work on the evaluation of TRIPS Agreement and is the co-convenor of National Working Group on Patent Laws.
