Université Du Burundi (Burundi)

Created in 1964, the University of Burundi is the main public university with currently more than 12,000 students divided into 8 Faculties and 7 Institutes. It provides training of excellence based on quality education and aims to be a reference university in the sub-region, indeed in all of Africa. The University of Burundi has already entered the BMD system (3-2-3) since the start of the 2011-2O12 academic year. It is part of the Interuniversity Network of the Great Lakes Countries and the Interuniversity Network of the EAC (East African Community) Countries.
