Biography
Professor sociology of development, senior researcher and expert in Africa and international migration, and, in poverty alleviation. Worked in Ahfad University for women since 1982, recruited to king Saud university and king Abdul Aziz university for 14 years. Joined the regional institute of gender diversity peace and rights in 2020, launched a social sciences and development research centre. Fellow member in the RLI, at the school of advanced studies in the university of London. Focal person for sdg5 in the UN academic impact for sdgs. Established the school of rural extension education and development in 1987 and launched a MA program in sustainable rural development in 2000.
