The 15th Ordinary Session of the Pan-African Cooperative Conference (CPC) which brought together, on July 23, 24 and 25, 2008 in Brazzaville, CONGO, the Ministers of French-speaking African countries in charge of cooperative action, the actors of the cooperative movement and development partners, and the 26th Session of the CPC/ISPEC Board of Directors held in Lomé, TOGO, on December 08 and 09, 2008 led to a major transformation of the Higher Pan-African Institute of Cooperative Economics (ISPEC ). Indeed, the new Constitution of the CPC adopted in Brazzaville stipulates that the training establishment hitherto called Pan-African Higher Institute of Cooperative Economy now takes the name of “African University for Cooperative Development” (UADC).
