Biography
Dr. Sumran Ali is a research associate at the University of Vechta, Vechta Institute of Sustainability Transformation in Rural Areas (VISTRA), Vechta, Germany. Recently, he also joined a post-doctoral position at the University of AScience and Technology of China, which is one of the top 100 universities in the world. He received his Bachelor of Business and Information Technology (BBIT) from the University of Punjab in 2013, an MPhil in public administration, and a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2020. He has served as an education methods specialist at the Punjab Information Technology Board, Government of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan, and as a research assistant at the University of Science and Technology of China from 2020 to 2023. His main research interests include ecological economics, sustainability, innovation strategy, green innovation, social innovation, social entrepreneurship, GM food and Crops, food quality and preference and sustainable food. He has also served as the editorial board member for “Quality Assurance and Safety of Crops & Foods”. His research work has been published in prestigious journals such as the IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Financial Innovation, European Journal of Innovation Management, Environment, Development and Sustainability, Food Quality and Preference, GM Crops & Food, Foods, Asian Journal of Social Science, Journal of Public Affairs, and Journal of Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies.
