Biography
Marta Koch is an Imperial College London PhD researcher with BSc and MSc degrees from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Her research focuses on the intersections between sustainable development progress and technological innovation in developing regions particularly vulnerable to climate change. She has worked as a researcher and consultant focused on the UN SDGs for University College London, King’s College London, LSE, Oxford University, UN-Habitat, UNDP and UNESCO, focusing on sustainable development, digital innovation, ICT4D and international development. Her work has been published in International Affairs and Science of the Total Environment journals and she has written for the International Maritime Organization UN specialised agency, International Institute for Sustainable Development SDG Knowledge Hub and the UCL Public Policy ‘Policy Postings’, London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) Firoz Lalji Institute for Africa and Imperial College London Centre for Environmental Policy academic blogs.
