Biography
Dr. Ram Kumar Mishra, former director, the Institute of Public Enterprise, ONGC Subir Raha Chair Professor on Corporate Governance, is president, Management and Social Science Research Centre, Hyderabad, India. He has taught at the University of Bradford, the United Kingdom, and has been a visiting professor at Maison Des Sciences De L'Hommes, Paris, and the UN International Centre for Public/Promotional Enterprises, Slovenia. His research interests include corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, and sustainable management. He has been a member of the UN Task Force on International Standards of Excellence in Public Administration Education. He is a special invitee to the OECD Working Group on Privatization and Corporate Governance of SOEs and the Asian Network of Corporate Governance. He has been a non-executive director on a few of the public and private enterprise boards in India. He is an invitee to G20 meetings and a participant in RIS, the Ministry of External Affairs, and GoI Events.
