Kyoto University (Japan)

Kyoto University is a famous comprehensive research university in Japan. The super International University Program of the Ministry of education, culture, sports, science and technology of Japan is a class a top school, and designated members of national universities, academic research symposium, old Imperial University and East Asian Research University Association. Kyoto University originated in 1861. After World War II, it was officially renamed "Kyoto University". Unlike other universities in Japan, Kyoto University advocates a free and independent research and learning atmosphere and advocates students' personalized development on the basis of "self-respect". Student autonomy is implemented in the University. The academic atmosphere of "those who have aspirations to study and those who have no aspirations to enjoy themselves" is one of the characteristics of Kyoto University.
Kyoto University has many first-class scientific research institutions, such as iPS cell research institute of Kyoto University, Mathematical Analysis Research Institute of Kyoto University and Disaster Prevention Research Institute of Kyoto University. By 2020, a total of 19 Nobel laureates are related to Kyoto University to some extent, including 11 alumni and professors. Hideki Yukawa, the world's first Nobel Laureate of the yellow race, is also a professor of the University.
The University ranks 61st in the 2022 Thames Higher Education World University, 33rd in 2022qs World University and 2022u S. News World University ranked 127th, and 2021 soft science world university ranked 37th
