Biography
Dr. Mohamed Elmustafa Osman Elsayed is an associate professor at the Department of Food Science and Technology, Faculty of Natural Resources and Environmental Studies, Kordofan University in Sudan. In 2008, he obtained his PhD in Chemistry of Plant Products from Georg-August University of Gottingen in Germany, and he holds both an MSc and a BSc from the department of Biochemistry of Food Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Khartoum (1991 and 1994). Since 1994, he has taught, conducted research and consulted for various institutions in food science, biochemistry and nutrition. He worked as Deputy Director and then Director of the Institute of Gum Arabic Research & Desertification Studies (IGARDS) (2008-2014), now he is a Principal of College of Developmental and Technological Studies since 2014.
