Ali Shita (Libyan Academy) Libya

Shita hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Faculty of Accounting, University of Ghrian, 2005. He later pursued a Master’s degree in Accounting at University of Ghrian in 2010. Currently, He is a PhD candidate in the Department of Accounting at the Libyan Academy since 2022. His professional career in accounting began in 2005 when he worked as an employee in the Accounts Department at the (Jamahiriya Bank) until 2006. After that, He joined the General Electricity Company, where He worked from 2006 to 2015, gaining extensive experience in accounting and finance. In addition, He had the honor of joining the teaching faculty at the Higher Institute of Science and Technology in Al-Asabaa (Libya). Moreover, He has collaborated as a part time faculty member at several academic institutions, including the Faculty of Accounting in Al-Rajban and the Libyan Private University of Tripoli; and the Higher Institute of Science and Technology. Recently, He joined Nassr Saleh Office for Chartered Accounting and Auditing as a member of the auditing team. He has participated in several training courses in Accounting and Consumer Accounts. He held courses in both English and French at the Language Center of the University of Ghrian and in Royan, France. In addition, he has been a member of various scientific and organising committees for conferences and scientific seminars. He also participated in a workshop organized by the National Authority for Technical and Vocational Education to standardize curricula in 2017. Additionally, He has published several scientific papers on accounting and finance topics.
