Biography
Assistant Professor and Head of the Community Medicine Department at the University of Kordofan’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. A Public Health and Environmental Health Specialist, he holds a Master’s and PhD in Public Health and has over 10 years of teaching experience. Dr. Abdullah has held leadership roles as Director of the National Health Insurance Fund (West/North Kordofan) and Supervisor for Sheikan Medical Insurance Company (Khartoum sector). His expertise spans health systems management, financing, and policy planning, with research visits to Ghana, Rwanda, Pakistan, and Beirut. He has published on dengue fever, cervical cancer, and ectopic pregnancy, while actively supervising student research. Fluent in Arabic and English, he excels in public speaking, teaching, and communication.
