The university is located on the grounds of the late King Faisal Palace in the heart of Riyadh. This location is ideally suited for travel, with close connections to all of the city’s major highways. Riyadh contains many beautiful sights, such as modern high-rises and the Souq Al Jamal, one of the largest markets on the Arabian peninsula.

Indeed, Alfaisal University is proud of its track record in supporting gender equality and of the outstanding women it has opened its doors to, including Hala Abdulla Albaidallah, who was the first woman in Saudi Arabia to receive a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering and Alanoud Al-Turki, who was the first woman in the country to join Microsoft as a field engineer after graduating from the university with a BS in Software Engineering.
